| Description of the problem | My car was supposed to have the initial recall completed in 2008. Recently i noticed a strong gas smell coming from my car and has gotten worse. I removed the rear seat and access cover to the fuel pump and noticed a large puddle of gas accumulated/leaking around the fuel pump sender unit area. Also the production date of the parts were 2004, so it is likely the dealer didn't do anything back in 2008. I now have to drive with a constant smell of gas in the interior of my car and can't park it in the garage due to risk of fire hazard. *js |
